Description

This is really just a puddle adjacent to the Lyle Cherry Orchard Trail. It probably dries up altogether in the summer. What makes it worthy of note is the large number of butterflies that frequent the place in early spring. It's common to see 50-80 butterflies at once of 4 or 5 species flitting about the pond, drinking and mating.
