Description

The Canyon Trail is currently closed from this trail junction to the Double Falls Trail due to storm damage (observed 2007-12-26)

The Maple Ridge Trail is an often overlook trail in Silver Falls State Park. It provides an alternate loop for hikers that aren't up to the complete Trail of Ten Falls Loop Hike. This trail junction is where the Maple Ridge Trail meets the Canyon Trail deep in the Silver Creek Canyon. It lies right on the ridge separating the South Fork of Silver Creek from the North Fork. This is close to where the forks combine and the ridge is only about a fifty foot climb.
