Description

Merten Mill is an abandoned lumber mill about two miles from the Opal Creek Trailhead on your way to Jawbone Flats. Pokinga round a bit here, will reward you with views of an old steam boiler and various other artifacts of early lumber production. Follow a footpath behind the rusting mill equipment towards the river to view Cascada de los Ninos (aka Sawmill Falls).
