Description
Clear Branch Rim is a four mile long ridge that stretches from the Parkdale Lava Beds on the east to Owl Point on the west. The rim forms the north wall of the Clear Branch valley, the main stream flowing from the north slopes of Mount Hood. The Clear Branch joins the Coe Branch and Eliot Branch near the lava beds to form the Middle Fork Hood River. The Old Vista Ridge Trail follows the upper reaches of Clear Branch Rim, and the lookout at Perry Lake once stood on the rim.
This waypoint is at a beautiful viewpoint of the Clear Branch Valley.
