Description

Dollar Lake is a small pond about 1/4 mile above the Timberline Trail. It's small, remarkably round and has a sandy bottom. With no inflow or outflow stream, the pond makes a nice swimming hole (read bathtub?), but it isn't the best for drinking water.

There are 3 campsites. These can be full on summer weekends. This area is surprisingly busy for being so far off the beaten track.
