Description

A high alpine lake surrounded by rocky cliffs where mountain goats can be spotted. This will be snow covered until about August.

There are a number of campsites next to the trail, or off short side trails to the south (below the lake). The southeast shore of the lake is a nice place to camp.

Beware camping here because it's so high elevation and exposed. Keep your eye on the weather report and avoid bad weather. Keep all your stuff tied down or it will blow away.

No fires are allowed at the lake.
