Description

This is another set of closely spaced trail junctions on Powell Butte. The Goldfinch trail head north down the slope to the main parking lot and uphill a short distance to the south to the Orchard Loop Trail. Two trail head downhill to the west. The first is the Mount Hood Trail which connects with the Cedar Grove Trail and the Blacktail Deer Trail at the base of the hill. The second trail, known as the Elderberry Trail heads down the hill to a connection with the Cedar Grove-Elderberry Trail Junction|Cedar Grove Trail]], then it continues on to the Raymond Street Trailhead and loops around to the north.
