Description

This is an trail junction made up of old roads. The Historic Columbia River Highway Trail passes through here. To the east are Tooth Rock Viaduct, Eagle Creek and Cascade Locks. To the west are the Tooth Rock Trailhead, Tanner Creek and Moffett Creek. At this point, the builders of the Columbia River Highway built their road over an older wagon road. Today, the older road is the Portage Road Loop and it's open to hikers from here to the Eagle Creek Staircase.
