Description

One of the most scenic areas of Mount Hood is, perhaps surprisingly, where the Timberline Trail goes through the Mount Hood Meadows ski area. One of the prettiest places is the Heather Canyon where there is a nice waterfall near the trail.

There are a number of other streams that cross the trail and a number of campsites.

The only bad thing about this area is there are a number of structures, like ski lifts, and some trash, like beer bottles.
