Description

We called this the Home Valley Viewpoint because we needed something distinctive and you do get a great view of the Home Valley lumber mill and the mouth of the Wind River from here. The better views are of Wind Mountain, Dog Mountain and the eastern part of the Columbia River Gorge. There's also a great look up to a large basalt outcrop overhanging a mossy talus slope.
