Hike Description

This is a very short hike in the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. The trail forms a quarter mile long loop around Leaf Hill. Leaf Hill itself is off limits, but several fossils are displayed behind glass. This hike wouldn't be worth the drive, by itself, but it's very close to the Painted Cove Hike and the Painted Hills Overlook Hike.
