Hike Description

Lucia Falls is a nice little park with several good views of the East Fork of the Lewis River.

From the parking lot, start down the paved path. After about 3/10 of a mile, take the right fork. The trail passes a couple of viewpoints of Lucia Falls. In the summer, although the river is off-limits, there's some good scrambling available on the rocks near the river.

The path continues east up the river. There are several use paths and side routes to river viewpoints. Soon the path comes to Hantwick Road where it bridges the river. There's an online description of a trail heading up the south side of the river to Moulton Falls and beyond, but it's unverified. For this hike stay on the paved path as it hooks back around westward to the trailhead.
