From Portland Hikers Field Guide

The junction of the Meadowland and Elderberry Trails
The junction of the Meadowland and Elderberry Trails

Contents

Description

This is a fairly complicated trail and road junction on Powell Butte. The west service road passes through here from the north and west. The Elderberry Trail also heads west somewhat paralleling the service road through the forest. The Meadowland Trail which is on the service road north of here, takes off on its own southward, through a Hawthorn forest.
