Driving Directions

From Estacada, head east on 224 for 9 miles, and turn right at a large green metal bridge over the Clackamas river onto route 45 (Memaloose Lake Rd). Travel 11 miles on this paved road, and just before the pavement ends, turn right onto a gravel road. Go 1 mile to find the trailhead on your left. There is no parking lot, just pull off along the side of the road.

Other Notes

As you travel along FS 45, you may be disturbed to see many target shooting areas filled with shotgun shells and trash. Fortunately, these litterers have not been trashing the trailhead.
