Description

This is where the Old Holgate Trail reaches a plateau and enters the meadows of Powell Butte. east of here, Old Holgate is serving as an access road to government vehicles. The newer service road continues west, acting as the Meadowland Trail. On clear days, hikers on the Old Holgate Trail will be immediately surprised with a stunning view of Mount Hood.
