Description

The Pacific Crest Trail crosses a lot of roads in its length, some of them Interstate Freeways, some of them abandoned logging roads. This, fortunately, is one of the latter. "Greenleaf Falls Trail" is actually an abandoned road, reaching from Carpenter Lake to near Greenleaf Falls. On some maps, the road is called Moffet Hot Springs Road. The road is extremely rugged, but is still driven on by ORVs, who apparently bring up chainsaws and remove fallen trees regularly. Turn north here to go to Greenleaf Falls. Head west on Greenleaf Falls Trail to Carpenter's Lake. The Crest Trail west goes to Table Mountain. The Crest Trail east leads to the Bridge of the Gods.
