Description

The last ordeal on the Ruckel Ridge Trail is this crossing of Ruckel Creek. It's not usually too difficult, but like all bridgeless crossings, it can be dangerous in times of high water flow. The entire Ruckel Ridge Trail is best left to the dry months. Do not expect to see water at the Ruckel Creek crossing throughout the summer. The creek runs underground in some areas during times of low water flow.
