Driving Directions

From Portland, drive south on I-205 to OR 224. Drive east on 224 past Estacada. Watch for a road called Surface Road. Turn left here and drive 1.1 miles.Turn right on Squaw Mountain Road. Watch carefully for a green forest service gate and drive almost 4 miles to an unmarked turnout on the right. This is the trailhead.

Other Notes

There is a pullout and small gravel road just before the real trailhead. Do not mistake this for the trailhead. The real trail is dirt not gravel.
